We had PLENTY of time to commiserate while waiting for what I believe has to be the worst elevator service in the world! As I stated earlier we were blessed to be on the 8th floor as our trip down to the casino floor wasn't as bad as the much higher floors. The next morning we encountered a number of our fellow eighth floor guests who had the same very annoying issue. We kept the bathroom door closed to muffle the sound while we slept. The most annoying thing about the room, which still needed work, was the fact that they have the exhaust fan in the bathroom running 24/7 with no way of shutting it off. Room was ok, located on the 8th floor which turned out to be a blessing we found out later. One of the Kardashians were there that night to open a restaurant so it was super crowded around that venue which made navigating that area of the casino difficult (still at a loss why they're noteworthy) We were put into the old tower, I believe they call it the south tower now. The gaming floor feels cramped, even without the addition of hundreds of people! Games seemed tight this time around (my wife and I played on the $150 I received when I got my card a few weeks ago which turned into $4100). The physical space is impressive, especially from what it was, brighter and colorful. As a new Rock Royalty member and former Signature member of the Taj, I was excited to see what they did with the place. My son and I stayed one night on Saturday night.
